RAhMaNiA???!!!!!!

It's Sunday evening and i am looking at Ishanth Sharma running in to bowl his first over in the match against Deccan chargers and on any other day i would've been glued to my seat without bothering about what's going on outside the 21 inches, but today isn't any other day,for some reason.I think about the next day ie. about the semester practical exams which i am scheduled to have and my casual attitude towards it.Things aren't going to get any better as far as my preparations are concerned and there is a reason behind it.I look at the clock and it's time for me to make a move.I get up,get started and catch the bus to my destination along with my mom.I get down and move inside just to see what lies ahead in the day:the place is crowded to the core and people are jostling with each other to get in.Now i am in and have to wait till it starts. In the mean time the no. of people keeps increasing and no one really cares if he/she has a place to sit or not.Now it's nearly time and after some Booms in the stage,Vijay athiraj comes running in and does what an anchor usually does when in Chennai, but the people are like "c'mon we're not here to see you, so please move on!!!!!",and finally he does. The One we are waiting for , makes his way to the center of the stage in his usual calm n composed manner and there he is.A.R Rahman is standing right before us,some 50 metre from me and addresses chennai in his lovable mother tongue. While many of us in the crowd are still wondering how someone that great could be this simple,he starts off the proceedings with his own number from Azhagiya Tamizh magan. From then on everything is in fast forward and a number of hit songs of his are sung by himself and many other renowned artists like Hariharan, Madhushree,Karthik,Nithyashree,Neethi Raman(this girl really amazed me with her dual talents),Shankar Mahadevan,Javed ali.The Concert finally comes to an end with 'vande matharam' and it is nearly 10.30 when i am out of the place. On my way back I wonder,'Is this what people call RahMania????'....

The BEautiful game At its BEst..

After trying hard not to dedicate a complete post to Soccer esp. premiership, i have to accept ma failure.Because now that we're reaching the business end of the season, the beautiful game is at its best.So i tell this, football maniacs go on,but others please think twice before doing so.Coming back to the point,I was never in ma life this much associated with this premiership (along with the champions league that is)thing ,but now it doesn't allow me to read nor sleep.I've been long breaking my head whether to be a BLue* or a Red*,but now i must take a decision.Because, both of them are in the semis of Uefa and go on head to head twice in the weeks to come. And this weekend we have a cracker of a contest between League leaders ManU and Arsene wenger's Gunners which could go a long way in deciding who the Champions are.And things aren't looking bad in Champion's league either.Three of the four teams in the semis i will support without any problems with the exception being ManU.But i really liked the way they played against Roma after their skipper's successful comeback after 13 months.I really liked the way Giggs came running n gave him the Traditional arm band which was waiting to go back into its real master's arms.
With the stage set for a number of cracking contests,ManU and Chelsea will be on their Quest for eternal glory this season, now that a FA cup victory is ruled out for both the teams. But now i have decided who am gonna support though:the side which will try n reach its fourth final in five years under rafa.Anything for Steven G.

Excuz me boss, can't you mind your own business????

Well, that's pretty big for a title, isn't it??? But,after all, something is better than nothing rite??
I haven't posted for nearly a month except that technical one which dealt with Robotics. So,i thought, why not try something out of the routine, for a post.Let's forget Sehwag's triple ton,Chelsea's hard earned victory and Manu's and Ronaldo's awesome run of form.
You always meet different kind of people in your day to day life. And you can classify them into different categories based on what you feel about them. One group which disgusts me is the one which concerns itself with other's business.I am sure every one of us would've experienced such people in life while some of us may or rather might belong to that class. Doing that very rarely can be chucked away in the name of excess care but I've known people who think they're here to guide people around them. This topic came to ma mind today in ma gym when a guy was sorta going around everyone checking whether what they were doing was right or wrong,as if he came to do exactly that.Well,he can do that if he's a close associate of Arnie or Ronnie, which i am sure he's not.
That is just an example.I've known guys in ma school and in college, complaining that this guy talks too much with this girl. That's really absurd. On second thought, may be they oughtta give a damn if they were having an eye for the chick but i really don't think that's the case most of the time.Coz' when you ask them about the girl, they'd be like 'I'd rather die than speaking with her'.
I think i've gonna bit outta bounds myself here. But,lemme tell this,if anyone felt like he was referred to here, please try to change yourself. But being like this is not the end of the world though. You can take heart from the fact that there's a worser class which thinks "I am always Best in whatever i do,and i want others to do it my way".I say this to those 'JUST FUCK OFF'....

Crysis

It is said that man's brain lets him down in times of crises.Especially, when the weight of saving hundreds of lives rests on his shoulders.Disarming of bombs is one such thing, where a simple mistake will cost us dearly. All said, when we try to come up with a solution ,only one thing comes to mind,ROBOTICS.The mission we are going to engage ourselves with is,forming a troop of robots, which specialize in three different fields, namely: 1. Evacuating the said spot. 2.Detection of bombs. 3.Recognition of the type, disarming and disposal of the bomb.We are planning to concentrate on making a previously designed robot specialize in these feilds over the next few months. A question that remains to be answered is,"why can't humans continue to operate in these fields?",the answers are: 1.A robot does not feel flustered in a crisis. 2.The efficiency can be taken to greater levels. 3.And even if a mission fails, the life of a robot is not as valuable as that of a human. Even then, the most complex electronic or electrical circuit in this universe is a product of man's brain. So,we also have to undertake the job of upgrading the robot's intelligence time and again and hopefully,in the near future, need not operate it manually and let it make its own decisions through Artificial intelligence.

An awesome day.......

Few of u know what ma orkut profile name is,at this moment ie as i am postin this.....It is "yesterday was gr8,today??even better"...that really has an inner meaning to it....COz,yesterday we,a bunch of guys in the ncc, had to stay in the college coz today was our Ncc day celebrations.....
The fact that i've never got the chance till now to live in hostel, really made it a dream come true for me,and many of the others i suppose.....Honestly,right from ma childhood i've been devoted to ma 2 schools in which i studied to a gr8 extent...i really liked to roam in the corridors alone in the chilly mornings once i reached the school pretty early because of my tutoring timings......But never did i get a chance to stay because of any reasons....coming back to yesterday....we actually were fatigued after hours of practice in the sun for today's event....but then we were allowed to have a break at around 5 and we decided 'twas time to play......and then back to the big hall where we were supposed to sleep......I never really kept track of the time on such an excitin evening,so i hope i am right in saying that we had to go to the mess for our supper at 8 or so....came back at around 9 and i couldn sleep immediately coz the sentry duty between 10 and 12 was assigned to me and one of ma friends...It was really fun chattin in the cool mists of night about how we enjoyed what we were doing.....And then of course i went off ter sleep and we all got up at 5 and had a comic sports drill at half past 5 in the morning....came back took bath and got ready for the stage which had been set....Even if i were to ever forget this day i am sure i would never forget the day which i got the chance to stay in ma college, whch is the day before.....

What was that all about?????

I am still not completely awake...it's Sunday afternoon and i am sitting up after having a good nap...
It is five and life usually gets irritating for a little period of time when u get up at 5,especially when u think that the weekend is about to end..i think of the excitement of Friday evening, the enjoyment on Saturday and what lies ahead the whole next week, especially giving a thought to the fact that our dreaded unit tests are just looming into reality...What makes matters worse about these little 'assessment tests' is that they are actually nothing to prepare, but u can't go n sit blankly either...
Alrite, when just the thought of it is so sick, y am i talking about it!!.what happened these two days..
Friday's excitement went in a flash after hitting d gym for 2 hours which is completely usual ...Saturday morning actually started at around 10 and afternoon drifted away with me drifting through the pages of 'A GOD IN RUINS' BY LEON URIS...Saturday evening was once again spent in d gym...
Today morning???It actually started with the prospect of a thrilling cricket match on the cards and watching an Indian quickie in Ishanth doing what he did was really awesome...midway through the innings though,i had some things to cut out with a guy who calls himself my BARBER...Then what, came back, had ma lunch while side by side watching the indian reply,in the midst of which i could get ma eyes on two shorts by SAchin ,which will be in the hearts of all cricket lovers for many years to come...and i went off to sleep......Now???? am i still sleeping....i hear ma mom calling for me,but still i don't think am awake to think all this. Now do i get up and all these go through ma mind again....

Cheer's to winners......

Hooray!!!!....ARSENAL is back on top, leading manu by 2 points. And if it weren't for Tevez's fucking
last minute goal, the lead would've been better...i don't know if am late, but only on saturday did i notice Chelsea's new striker and i saw glimpses of what the pair of Ballack and Anelka could do to defenses in the future......but with regret do i tell that i don't get to watch most of the matches by any of the teams,so it's turned out to the point that i support every team which is likely to stop Manu from successfully defending its title...as far as other things go, i am not acquainted enough about the presidency elections of the U.S to comment on it(under the cover that i am not interested in politics) ,but i was really amazed with what the MESSENGER(MErcury Surface, Space ENvironment, GEochemistry, and Ranging) has come up with...it seems mercury was not even close to what the scientists thought it was...funny thing is the scientists made all the guess work after observing just 30% of the planet(i mean the previous time)..Anyways, i know it is easier said than done. Let's hope Mercury doesn shrink to a ball.....And i am petty confused about what M.S.D implied from his Mission-2011 plan,so i am not in a state to comment on it...And after fumbling upon it yesterday in the Library,i've started reading "THE GOD IN RUINS"...hope it's as good as people say it is....Ironically, it has got something to do with the '08 presidential elections in the U.S........
