Biddin Adieu........

I post this, knowing that someone, who has been with me for almost a year ,is about to leave me forever in around 2.30 hours....07, as he is popularly known will be missed by quite a few of u,i presume. If you are wondering why i am using this personification, take a look at ma justification: i am sure most of you write dates in ur classworks(i don do!!!!)or whereva for that matter.Have you ever noticed that you do make a mistake in the 'years' column up to mebbe the month January of the new year ends??.That, in itself is a justification of what i am telling.People miss the previous year without really knowing they do.This year had a significance about it in my life...As almost all of ma teachers said "this was one of the most important year of my life" .....But people cannot be more mistaken....I don't think you win it all to win in life....i am sure most of you will agree with this....What marks you scored, what course u have taken, which college do you belong to...to hell with this questions....As far as i am concerned these things neva really oughtta be bothered about....Leave your life to destiny...No one can change it....okie...i am diverting in some other direction...Most of all,i am sure i'll miss my last days in school this year...And of course the board exams, the five month long holidays ( most of my fellow students would've hated it towards the end,but now we do regret it)...the thrill of being ragged, first day of college life..small crushes(of course there are more to come) and many other unsaid things....07 did have its moments of ecstasy and agony in ma life but only time can tell if it was the best year of ma life...and now the time is ten, exactly 2 hours before 08 will be here...Bid adieu o7 and WELCOME 08....

An Ode to Rajinikanth...

Yesterday morning i was thinking that i'll not be able to see the movie for another ten days or so...i did have a reason for that....but outta nowhere my opportunity came ,when one of ma friends called up n asked "shall we go to the second show"...twas already 8 30 when he asked that and i was like excited at the prospect of going to a second show...i know what ya all are wanting to ask....i usually am not a big fan of Ajith but i'll tell ya all this...Everybody or at least half of them come not to see him in action but one of the greatest movies of the superstar....Nevertheless good performances always oughtta be praised...and ya...Ajith who, in ma point of view already has a royal aura about himself,is even more royal with all those tailor made stuff of his..And there's a car stunt in which he performs some ten rotations on the same place while gunning the police down....and Nayantara is worth mentioned...not for all those hot stuff, but that even she has an aura about her in this film....and the funny thing i thought was,Vishnuvardhan neva really minded Namita ...she comes for some five scenes without any purpose and gets killed finally by the lookalike....(oops sorry for the spoiler)....But the thing was,as everyone knew the story like the back of their hand,it really din help having the same story...Even then my final say is...IT IS WORTH WATCHING...

Livin the past....

I never really got a good topic to post on...this is the reason i give every time after a break, and am afraid,i must do it once again...But,it does me no good if i don't post on a friday night ,that too having a full weekend ahead, which is a rare thing now that my college is going in full fledge....so i thought i'd give it a go,and as i was making ma way to my room i realised that i'd got the topic i had wanted....I took a book yesterday from my college's library and it is about the legendary alexander and it is named as"ALEXANDER :ON TO THE WORLD's END"..but,the unfortunate thing about this is it is the third part of the series, the first two of which i could never find in my library...Nevertheless,i've started to become obsessed with the book.I never really knew why,but i was and am always attracted towards these epic novels. And as everyone else does,i've always wanted to be like one of those royal kings or princes in ma life, say an ARAGORN or a MURTAGH(only people who read these type of novels will know what am referring to).The reason behind this maybe that, the first book i read ,very much enthralled, was ERAGON by the then teenage writer CRISTOPHER PAULINI...and LORD OF THE RINGS was something which i may never forget in my life,i miss those days when i used to sit in the last bench of ma class with the thousand odd pages book kept open before me and never really giving a damn about what the stupid man or lady was saying ,standing some five rows in front of me....But,this time the stakes are high for this book because i've already read which is considered as the greatest fiction of all time by many...and now it's time for me to ride aside the king of kings and LIVE THE PAST WHICH I NEVER SAW...

a three minute movie......

Some three months ago,i was sittin in front of ma tv watchin hbo ,when i came across the trailer of the movie, the book of which i was waiting to get ma hands on...i was even more agitated to get hold of the book after seein the trailer, coz take ma word for it,the trailer was mind blowing..but,i don't know why,i neva really got near enough to the book to get ma hands on it. And as time went by,i forgot about the book as well as the movie...And during a library hour last week or the one before that, when i was searchin for as interesting book,i found a book which one of ma friends was holding, really interesting.howeva,he refused to give it to me but promised to gimme the dvd of the movie which i mentioned before...and he kept his word,by giving it the next day,but i never really had the time(i am busy u know) to watch it.But that was till yesterday..you know the wonder of having a full weekend being declared as a holiday is that you can do whateva you want on saturday, and think about your duties only on sunday..I got up at around nine today morning, and went about ma routine, and then got hold of the dvd and went straight to ma tv and honestly,i only remember switchin it on.....The movie was as good as i expected it to be,in fact even better.I've uploaded the trailer here,if you'd like to take a look...oops,it seems i've forgot to mention it's name...it's 'THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM'...this time bourne comes home.......(it's as good as it sounds).....
