Bikes are always considered a 'Macho' thing!Although there are a lot of 'the fairer sex' who ride super bikes these days ,you still can't expect a 'rossi a.k.a 46' among them!!When i was wondering,if i could make some post in my blog, yesterday, an R15 'wroom'ed past me and made me decide that the post will, once again,be on biking!!Bikes, always amazed me from my childhood, each having it's own reason! But only some months before ,did i acquaint myself to the technical part of biking!! Anyway, let's forget the technical part in this post.I wanted to decide on, which all will make my 'Ten Favourite Bikes'. Please note that this isn't a rating!!It's just a list of MY ten favourite bikes. And taste ,as always, can differ!!
1.Honda Stunner Cbf 125:
First up,i own this bike!!So,no wonder,it's the first in my list!!And secondly,it's a Honda!!I take great pride in owning this machine and would like to note about its ons n offs!!
Ons: Looks,performance,pickup for a 125cc , N so on!!;)
offs: pretty expensive in its class,Deceptive looks, but not so powerful engine!!
2.Yamaha R15
Bike of the year,if you ask me!!The kind of technology it comes with, can really blow any biker's mind off!!Good looks(but the rear tyre could've been bigger!!),good performance,'very' high price',and a bit low mileage!!
3.Karizma zma:
As an adolescent,i was very much crazy about Hrithik 'hunk' roshan.Actually,i am,still!! And when i saw that ad featuring him, along with this super cool bike,i suddenly found my spirit rising!!Even now, when i see a Karizma,on the road,i can lost rack of the road sometimes!! Excellent looks, powerful engine, standard round performance, decent mileage for its class!!
4.Yamaha FZ16
A sibling to the R15, Fz can be expected to give the same performance,if not more.
Comes with a Stocky muscular look, which is further enhanced by the huge radial rear tyre!!Infact it reminds me of a Batpod!!;)India's first naked street bike! The Lord of the streets is here for everyone to hail!!
5.Yamaha RX100
Remember the slim bike which announced its arrival with its spectacular sound??
It was much ahead of its time!Even now, when i get to ride one,i can't stop myself from doing a wheelie because of the amzing pick up n power it gives!!The mileage could've been better though!!
6.The Bullet:
Should i tell more than that?!! Anyway, having that much power in its belly,it is any biker's dream ride!!I think the Post title suits this more than any other bike!!Any 'macho' gal to drive this one??!! Noway!!
7.Pulsar,the series:
Definitely male, was what the earlier ads had to say about this one.And it was!!But any day,i'd have liked to have the earlier one(i mean the one without the front mask),which enhanced the tank's already huge size!!And it's been a hit with various sections of the indian public, urging Bajaj to release various versions!!When's that 300cc pulsar gonna come roaring!!;)
8.CbZ Original and Extreme:
The Cbz always had something for avid bikers!Awesome pick up,suiting people who 'live life off the edge';) Its looks could've been better but still a good one from Hero Honda complementing Karizma!!
9.TVS Apache:
I just didn't want to add this in this list! But halfway through this post,i remembered those days in my first year of higher secondary school, when this bike was released!I was as crazy as anyone else in the city especially seeing the ad,'It's now or never'.But now am getting a bit bored of Apaches actually!!It's like, everywhere you turn you'll see an Apache!!Not very good looks, but excellent performance i must say with a lot of Vibes at top end speeds!!
10.HonDa FireBlade:
I know it's a Super Bike, but i just love this bike too much,to not include it in this list just because it's a super bike!!It's one of those bikes, with a name as sexy as it looks! And if you'd ask me to name one bike i'd love to ride before i end up in heaven,(ahem am a good boy!!) ,i'd go with this bike for some reason!!One word??: Mindblowing!!
Place to express my feelings about things in life which range from the people I live with to the pencil I use.

The sEnSaTiOn!!!!
'I take my position, adrenaline pumping and my pulse rate doubled.
I look deep into the 'long' road ahead. But,is it so long???
With a little press of my finger,12 horses try to leap forward into action, but i tell them,'Not now,you are not yet ready, some other day!!'.Ever so slowly,i start. It doesn't take much time for my hair to get ruffled.I am gaining speed. Not express, but not slow either!!I am getting used to being gaped at by onlookers these days. It's a completely different thing that, they are not gaping at me!.I take fresh air into my lungs(not so fresh though!!).Even before i realize,I've already reached the end of my 'long' road.I get down reluctantly, but its not long before i return back to the same position.I have a feeling of DEJA VU.Wondering what all this is about???I RIDE the SENSATION!!!'
Guess what I've been up to these days??Nothing!!!
Honestly, thanks to Anna university's Dumb 'no, we don't want u to be creative' syllabus,I've been up to 'Nothing' trying to prepare for my semester these days. However,on second thought, there's something else grabbing my attention with ease these days. That's my recently bought BIKE.Comes by the name of Stunner, and as I've tried to explain above,it really IS a Sensation!!A month back i wouldn't have thought I'd get myself a bike, leave alone a new one!!But thanks to one of my friends,i could pester my dad into buying me one!!It must be said that i spend most of my time looking at it in awe, rather than doing 'Nothing'.And in a week,I'd be given the license to abort doing 'Nothing',and take more long drives!!!!;)

To DADA ,with LOVE...
Let's go back precisely 35 years and 91 days..
A little boy, named Saurav Chandidas Ganguly, was born to ,one of the richest men in kolkata.Nicknamed 'maharaja' at that age,he was inspired by his brother into the field of cricket. And arrogance was something present deep within his marrow, perhaps,a little too much.Because many of his fellow players in the St.Xavier's school complained about this trait of his, during his stint as the school skipper.
And NOW after all these years,it is still his 'so called' ATTITUDE towards the game, which is raising many a brow!!But just damn with those people!!This guy did what no other indian captain had did!!India winning overseas no longer remains a vision,it became truth only during his stint!!It's only amusing to think that this is the man who has scored the most runs by an indian after his gritty comeback in South africa.Of course, this guy was not as great as sachin was,but only a few people can be as good a captain as he was!The days when he,along with Wright, made india into what it is,will remain in the heart of any true Indian fan for the rest of his life.Everything started with that dumb Chappell's stint as the coach! Now this all might sound like this guy can never bat,but of course he can!!Ask the ball, whose bat caresses it best, and it'll tell you 'DADA'..And coming to the name, many current players owe their careers to this man!Remember the ad where he used to chant for our country during the period where he was sidelined,it'll remain to be one of the best ever ads i have ever seen or will ever see in ma life.Remembering that ad,it is pretty tough to believe that this guy has all that arrogance. But,honestly,if you ask many of his true fans inlcuding me,we'll accept with a big grin that,it was this ARROGANCE and ATTITUDE of his that all of us love!!We don't want some dravid(no offence to him though!!) shaking hands with say,Ponting..We need a DADA,who'll stare him right in the eye.
Now,let's come to the present. Will the horse last one more RAce???And will it end as THE winner which all of us want it to be?? the answer lies in the next few days!!

Moments when words don't do all the talking!!!
'JULY 16,2005
It is 4.30 in the morning..I get up,do all the usual stuff and start for my math class!!!As usual i am late, and of course getting in is not a problem when it is Mrs.Malathi taking the class..'NO OFFENSE'..With some wide mouthed yawns in between the clock slowly ticks up to 6.30 n Bang!!,Mam 'calls it a day' in her usual style..I couldn't leave for my house because..My four month long holidays were finally over.
I still remember the day, like it was only yesterday. The excitement, the tension, old re unions, new friends, new surroundings(it's very easy to say that..initially i found it too hard to live in!!) and a whole lot of new things. And the days that were to come, they were even better..Better to the point of making a single tear drift down my cheeks while my lips are twirled into a silly smile, when i think of them..It's funny how even a single bench can make you remember so many things, leave alone people n places!!And time's really quick. When you realize, you are gonna miss something, half of it is already out of your reach..And when people get a chance to live with something they are missing very much, they'll grab it with both hands without even the slightest doubt!!'
The bus gives a jerk and i see places i've been yearning to see for almost a year now,but didn't get a chance to see. I can see the yellow board saying ITALIA clearly even through my moist eyes!!Finally,i was gonna see all those faces I've missed these many days!!I walk the usual way, taking in every yard slowly(don't mind all the exaggeration,i am one of a kind) ..I can picture the track 'tanha dil' inside my head!!How many times have i walked through this same road with a bag over ma shoulders with a coupla friends who were always there for me.Suddenly i feel some boom under my legs n i think to myself,'seems our school has used some awesome sound systems'..But,a few yards later i find that all that 'booms' were due to the cars that were checking their newly installed sound systems..I see a familiar wave!!(i had called ma buddy ashwin to come n give me some company while getting into the school),n i happily take the few steps to school along with him..And the next two hours just flew off!!
And after nearly 25 hours i can still hear all those voices inside my ears and will be able to do so for some days to come..Schooling, is definitely one cherished period of every human being's life!!! I miss ya all friends!!!

Out of the dark, comes the who???
One month ago, there was a video one of my friends had uploaded into his pod, that all the others seemed very much interested in.Only later did i come to know that it was the trailer of a movie that was supposed to be releasing some twenty days from that day(which was a week ago!!!).Yet,when i heard the movie name i wasn't really interested in anything about it.After all,it was the movie of the super hero i never really liked, let alone the others in the cast. Now after all these days i realize i couldn't have been more mistaken.Because, today morning i got to see the movie along with three friends of mine(two of them were seeing it for the second time, and yet they were on the edge of their seats right through). And that really did make me interested in THE BATMAN.I wouldn't really call it a Super Hero movie though .Guess, what I'd call it??? A Super Villain movie(You must see Ledger saying 'Why so serious' with a wicked smile in his face to get what i mean!!!) .After all that my friend had said about his performance this past week,it really amazes me how a man can appear to be so casual when giving one of the greatest performances ever(Unfortunately his last too!!).Let's hope he gets the Oscar for his 'swan song' of a performance. But,of course he has given good performance earlier which, however would be no match to this.Okay, let's forget the Joker(i really can't).Every one in this cast was really awesome ,playing their part to perfection.I don't want to spoil the story by telling it here, but those who are curious can always ask wiki!!!And to complete the title now,Outta of the dark comes the KNIGHT(i really hope he keeps coming and Joker too!!!)

The Devil's alternative
'Shche ne vmerla ukraina'
Translated into English, this means 'The Ukraine will live again".What this has to do with my post here,I'll tell you as this post goes.I have been reading 'The Devil's Alternative' by Fredrick Forsyth for nearly three months now,the extent can be explained due to the fact that i was having my college internal exams and the semester exams during this time. But,i started reading it more seriously once my exams had concluded, after May 28th that is.Today i finished it and i felt that Forsyth is one who suited my taste of books.
The story actually can not be summed up in two lines,i guess. It actually starts of with the finding of a castaway, who is later found to be an Ukranian freedom fighter by one of the important characters Andrew drake,by a ship captain. Both of them form a group of four, the other two being the freedom fighter,Kaminsky's friends from Ukraine. They together plan to make some damage to the Russian economy.Meanwhile,Russia faces famine because of a small mistake by two or three officers and badly needs some help from the West.Maxim rudin, the chief of politburo(the governing body of Russia),wants to ask the american president Mathews his help whereas his own comrade,Vishnayev wants to go to war and invade from Europe the food supplies they badly needed. Each of them have their own supporters and Rudin hangs on with his support leading 8 to 4...Somewhere else, the British agent in Russia comes to know of these secrets deep in the heart of the politburo from his youth lover,Valentina. He indirectly lets the American president know whatever he comes to know from his love. The Ukrainians succeed in their ploy of killing Yury Ivanenko, the chief of KGB,and want to make this public once the two Ukrainians who did this are safe in Israel. In another part of the world, the largest tanker ship with a capacity of 100 million tonnes of oil,the FREYA is being built. The Americans and Russians decide to sign the Treaty of Dublin so that Russia gets its badly needed food supply from America. The two killers, who still haven't made their deed public, are arrested for a flight kidnapping charge they committed in their desperation to leave Russia.Maxim rudin comes to know that these two were no ordinary killers and realizes the danger in leaving them free and decides to kill them in the jails of east berlin, were they are being held.Andrew Drake forms another group of seven and decides to do something to get the two prisoners free. He,along with his members, hijack the Freya, which is near the Dutch port to deliver its million tons of oil and makes his demands and threats. Finally, the Americans and the Europeans fail to come up with a plan while Adam Munro has something in mind.He lets the British prime minister,American president and the Politburo chief to know his plan and gets Rudin's assent.Successfully,FREYA is left unscathed and the Ukrainians are killed in their escape and no one in the whole world knew what deed they committed. The story ends with a twist relating to Valentina, which if i mentioned here will spoil the thrill to the reader.
I initially wondered how this many pieces could fit into the same story, but now i must admit,it is the thing which made me love this book.

FINALLY!!!!
Nearly a month of boredom, twenty five days of the 'so called' hard work, some hundred hours of sleep in between, two weeks of anxiety and headache and pressure, and a week of utter nonsense. Finally it's over. It's time to give out a sigh of relief. The consequences,or the results,to be more precise can be thought of later,at least in my case.I am sure most of you figure out what am talking about. But if you haven't done still,it's about my recently concluded annual exam in college(no semester pattern for the first years). What else???Super Kings manage to inch through into the final four in the Indian premier league, but largely due to the excellent start they got in the tournament.Thankfully, i need not worry about killing time in these holidays because of the ongoing IPL and the upcoming EURO 08.And coming to Euro,i am really impressed with the Portuguese line up,which has 'DECO NANI CARVALHO RICARDO' among the others.Wondering why i haven't mentioned the 'so called' player of the decade 'CRistiano Ronaldo'??Well,i loathe him.Anyways now that he's the Portuguese skipper,i must only hope that he does well. The Other sides which my bets are on are GERMANY and NETHERLANDS and of course France and Italy have always done well in this stage.Let us see what happens..
And i got to watch "THE FORBIDDEN KINGDOM" starring Jet li and Jackie chan among others.I liked the movie and was amazed by the stunt sequences in the film. But the story line could have been a bit more realistic..

The Eyes
Actually,i was bored with 'i did this-i did that' sorta posts and thought I'd try something a bit emotional this time.I had plenty of time to try though, thanks to my so called STUDY HOLIDAYS.I am not sure if it is a good try though....
"Life, was full of questions for him.He always kept wondering, why he was here. The answers kept coming, but their defects, even better. He never talked much, always questioning himself,'why this?' and 'why that?'.It all changed one day, when he found the answers for his infinite queries. The day, which he thought, defined the purpose of his life.Even now, after this many years,he wonders 'how could two white ellipses with circles within them, mean so much' to him.Everything changed that day.Whenever,he wanted to be heard,he was;Whenever,he wanted to be understood,he was.when,he wanted a reply,he got one.
Today, nearly 6 decades later,as he looked into those eyes again, but for one last time,he saw all those moments of joy and sorrow;he thought of the happiness they had shared and the sadness they had divided between themselves, tears of mixed emotions that they had shed. And yet, after these many years,it amazed him how much he loved those eyes of her.As he started to drift into eternity,as he contemplated that this was the last time he would see them,he realized that those were faster than his by seconds....."

RAhMaNiA???!!!!!!
It's Sunday evening and i am looking at Ishanth Sharma running in to bowl his first over in the match against Deccan chargers and on any other day i would've been glued to my seat without bothering about what's going on outside the 21 inches, but today isn't any other day,for some reason.I think about the next day ie. about the semester practical exams which i am scheduled to have and my casual attitude towards it.Things aren't going to get any better as far as my preparations are concerned and there is a reason behind it.I look at the clock and it's time for me to make a move.I get up,get started and catch the bus to my destination along with my mom.I get down and move inside just to see what lies ahead in the day:the place is crowded to the core and people are jostling with each other to get in.Now i am in and have to wait till it starts. In the mean time the no. of people keeps increasing and no one really cares if he/she has a place to sit or not.Now it's nearly time and after some Booms in the stage,Vijay athiraj comes running in and does what an anchor usually does when in Chennai, but the people are like "c'mon we're not here to see you, so please move on!!!!!",and finally he does. The One we are waiting for , makes his way to the center of the stage in his usual calm n composed manner and there he is.A.R Rahman is standing right before us,some 50 metre from me and addresses chennai in his lovable mother tongue. While many of us in the crowd are still wondering how someone that great could be this simple,he starts off the proceedings with his own number from Azhagiya Tamizh magan. From then on everything is in fast forward and a number of hit songs of his are sung by himself and many other renowned artists like Hariharan, Madhushree,Karthik,Nithyashree,Neethi Raman(this girl really amazed me with her dual talents),Shankar Mahadevan,Javed ali.The Concert finally comes to an end with 'vande matharam' and it is nearly 10.30 when i am out of the place. On my way back I wonder,'Is this what people call RahMania????'....

The BEautiful game At its BEst..
After trying hard not to dedicate a complete post to Soccer esp. premiership, i have to accept ma failure.Because now that we're reaching the business end of the season, the beautiful game is at its best.So i tell this, football maniacs go on,but others please think twice before doing so.Coming back to the point,I was never in ma life this much associated with this premiership (along with the champions league that is)thing ,but now it doesn't allow me to read nor sleep.I've been long breaking my head whether to be a BLue* or a Red*,but now i must take a decision.Because, both of them are in the semis of Uefa and go on head to head twice in the weeks to come. And this weekend we have a cracker of a contest between League leaders ManU and Arsene wenger's Gunners which could go a long way in deciding who the Champions are.And things aren't looking bad in Champion's league either.Three of the four teams in the semis i will support without any problems with the exception being ManU.But i really liked the way they played against Roma after their skipper's successful comeback after 13 months.I really liked the way Giggs came running n gave him the Traditional arm band which was waiting to go back into its real master's arms.
With the stage set for a number of cracking contests,ManU and Chelsea will be on their Quest for eternal glory this season, now that a FA cup victory is ruled out for both the teams. But now i have decided who am gonna support though:the side which will try n reach its fourth final in five years under rafa.Anything for Steven G.

Excuz me boss, can't you mind your own business????
Well, that's pretty big for a title, isn't it??? But,after all, something is better than nothing rite??
I haven't posted for nearly a month except that technical one which dealt with Robotics. So,i thought, why not try something out of the routine, for a post.Let's forget Sehwag's triple ton,Chelsea's hard earned victory and Manu's and Ronaldo's awesome run of form.
You always meet different kind of people in your day to day life. And you can classify them into different categories based on what you feel about them. One group which disgusts me is the one which concerns itself with other's business.I am sure every one of us would've experienced such people in life while some of us may or rather might belong to that class. Doing that very rarely can be chucked away in the name of excess care but I've known people who think they're here to guide people around them. This topic came to ma mind today in ma gym when a guy was sorta going around everyone checking whether what they were doing was right or wrong,as if he came to do exactly that.Well,he can do that if he's a close associate of Arnie or Ronnie, which i am sure he's not.
That is just an example.I've known guys in ma school and in college, complaining that this guy talks too much with this girl. That's really absurd. On second thought, may be they oughtta give a damn if they were having an eye for the chick but i really don't think that's the case most of the time.Coz' when you ask them about the girl, they'd be like 'I'd rather die than speaking with her'.
I think i've gonna bit outta bounds myself here. But,lemme tell this,if anyone felt like he was referred to here, please try to change yourself. But being like this is not the end of the world though. You can take heart from the fact that there's a worser class which thinks "I am always Best in whatever i do,and i want others to do it my way".I say this to those 'JUST FUCK OFF'....

Crysis
It is said that man's brain lets him down in times of crises.Especially, when the weight of saving hundreds of lives rests on his shoulders.Disarming of bombs is one such thing, where a simple mistake will cost us dearly. All said, when we try to come up with a solution ,only one thing comes to mind,ROBOTICS.The mission we are going to engage ourselves with is,forming a troop of robots, which specialize in three different fields, namely: 1. Evacuating the said spot. 2.Detection of bombs. 3.Recognition of the type, disarming and disposal of the bomb.We are planning to concentrate on making a previously designed robot specialize in these feilds over the next few months. A question that remains to be answered is,"why can't humans continue to operate in these fields?",the answers are: 1.A robot does not feel flustered in a crisis. 2.The efficiency can be taken to greater levels. 3.And even if a mission fails, the life of a robot is not as valuable as that of a human. Even then, the most complex electronic or electrical circuit in this universe is a product of man's brain. So,we also have to undertake the job of upgrading the robot's intelligence time and again and hopefully,in the near future, need not operate it manually and let it make its own decisions through Artificial intelligence.

An awesome day.......
Few of u know what ma orkut profile name is,at this moment ie as i am postin this.....It is "yesterday was gr8,today??even better"...that really has an inner meaning to it....COz,yesterday we,a bunch of guys in the ncc, had to stay in the college coz today was our Ncc day celebrations.....
The fact that i've never got the chance till now to live in hostel, really made it a dream come true for me,and many of the others i suppose.....Honestly,right from ma childhood i've been devoted to ma 2 schools in which i studied to a gr8 extent...i really liked to roam in the corridors alone in the chilly mornings once i reached the school pretty early because of my tutoring timings......But never did i get a chance to stay because of any reasons....coming back to yesterday....we actually were fatigued after hours of practice in the sun for today's event....but then we were allowed to have a break at around 5 and we decided 'twas time to play......and then back to the big hall where we were supposed to sleep......I never really kept track of the time on such an excitin evening,so i hope i am right in saying that we had to go to the mess for our supper at 8 or so....came back at around 9 and i couldn sleep immediately coz the sentry duty between 10 and 12 was assigned to me and one of ma friends...It was really fun chattin in the cool mists of night about how we enjoyed what we were doing.....And then of course i went off ter sleep and we all got up at 5 and had a comic sports drill at half past 5 in the morning....came back took bath and got ready for the stage which had been set....Even if i were to ever forget this day i am sure i would never forget the day which i got the chance to stay in ma college, whch is the day before.....

What was that all about?????
I am still not completely awake...it's Sunday afternoon and i am sitting up after having a good nap...
It is five and life usually gets irritating for a little period of time when u get up at 5,especially when u think that the weekend is about to end..i think of the excitement of Friday evening, the enjoyment on Saturday and what lies ahead the whole next week, especially giving a thought to the fact that our dreaded unit tests are just looming into reality...What makes matters worse about these little 'assessment tests' is that they are actually nothing to prepare, but u can't go n sit blankly either...
Alrite, when just the thought of it is so sick, y am i talking about it!!.what happened these two days..
Friday's excitement went in a flash after hitting d gym for 2 hours which is completely usual ...Saturday morning actually started at around 10 and afternoon drifted away with me drifting through the pages of 'A GOD IN RUINS' BY LEON URIS...Saturday evening was once again spent in d gym...
Today morning???It actually started with the prospect of a thrilling cricket match on the cards and watching an Indian quickie in Ishanth doing what he did was really awesome...midway through the innings though,i had some things to cut out with a guy who calls himself my BARBER...Then what, came back, had ma lunch while side by side watching the indian reply,in the midst of which i could get ma eyes on two shorts by SAchin ,which will be in the hearts of all cricket lovers for many years to come...and i went off to sleep......Now???? am i still sleeping....i hear ma mom calling for me,but still i don't think am awake to think all this. Now do i get up and all these go through ma mind again....

Cheer's to winners......
Hooray!!!!....ARSENAL is back on top, leading manu by 2 points. And if it weren't for Tevez's fucking
last minute goal, the lead would've been better...i don't know if am late, but only on saturday did i notice Chelsea's new striker and i saw glimpses of what the pair of Ballack and Anelka could do to defenses in the future......but with regret do i tell that i don't get to watch most of the matches by any of the teams,so it's turned out to the point that i support every team which is likely to stop Manu from successfully defending its title...as far as other things go, i am not acquainted enough about the presidency elections of the U.S to comment on it(under the cover that i am not interested in politics) ,but i was really amazed with what the MESSENGER(MErcury Surface, Space ENvironment, GEochemistry, and Ranging) has come up with...it seems mercury was not even close to what the scientists thought it was...funny thing is the scientists made all the guess work after observing just 30% of the planet(i mean the previous time)..Anyways, i know it is easier said than done. Let's hope Mercury doesn shrink to a ball.....And i am petty confused about what M.S.D implied from his Mission-2011 plan,so i am not in a state to comment on it...And after fumbling upon it yesterday in the Library,i've started reading "THE GOD IN RUINS"...hope it's as good as people say it is....Ironically, it has got something to do with the '08 presidential elections in the U.S........

Teh clash of teh titans....
The stage is set...almost everything is in place...a so called Brave man is about to take the reins from an old war chief for the first time in the Oz....even though the question was asked once before, when the same two sides competed last year around ,in the sub continent, this will be in the minds of the fans till the side defends its title the next time it comes under scrutiny...'Do the Indians really deserve being called champions????'...well,lemme save ma answer for the last....Ironically the tigers might want one more bite in the flesh of the kangarooo....just to show their superiority in this form of the game....I thought the test series was pretty closely competed and both the teams deserved sharing honors, but the results turned out to be otherwise...As we all know,in sports, results defy logic most of the time....i don't want to discuss any tactics here,i think the young Indian side really challenges the likes of Clarke and Hussey when it comes to fielding, which is so unlike the Indians...But there is one chink in the armor now, there is no Yuvraj...that i think will be a huge minus for the indians, let's see how costly his injury turns out to be...BUT,it is time to put discussions and reputations apart, and starting to expect a great clash with the aussies, for the first time in many years now to go as the underdogs in their home soil.....
And as far as ma answer to the question is concerned,"THE INDIANS DESERVE BEING CALLED CHAMPIONS AND THEY'LL HOPEFULLY PROVE IT ONCE AGAIN"......

Teh DAmned thing..
Even though the number of people who believe in superstition in india is dwindling,i do believe that there are a lot of 'em out there who believe there must be enough insight given to the past so as to let it decide what happens in the present. That according to me is complete Bullshit..Yes,giving an insight to what happened in the past is acceptable, but like everything else, only to an extent...Just because you failed over something in an attempt,it doesn't mean that you must think , no one in their right sense would try to do this again...I'd think that no one in their right sense would stop trying, putting the blame on superstition for their failures..Maybe you'd do well if you think over what went wrong and what should go right this time around without thinking about the right time to start this time or those stuff...i've written some lines to bring into note what i think would explain this situation....
I tried to touch it,to pluck it..
Alas i only got hurt...
Never again will i pluck it..
never will i get hurt...
Momma asks me,
"little boy,don't you like roses??
can you pluck it n give to me???"
Guess what i said???
"momma, roses are a symbol of evil...
It gave me blood when i tried to pluck it"
This is what i call the damned Superstition....All this said,i am sorry that even my own kin and friends believe in this stuff....Atleast i don't......

Life,without its thrill........
Just yesterday did i get to watch the movie 'NEXT' starring Nicholas cage, after waiting for a long time...The hero has this amazing power of seeing things before 2 minutes of the actual occurring time, except in his lover's(Jessica Beil) case, where he sees them much before they happen..
Well,i did like the film, in spite of the 'fictious' gift that the hero has got from the nature..
And after i had watched the movie,a thought crossed my mind,'What if I had this ability to see things, only two minutes before that is'.Even if it's hypothetical, there's no harm in imagining things, rite????WOw!!!!what a talent that'd turn out to be, You can think over what to do next just by seeing the immediate future, how to propose to a girl for an instance(that's a bit Playboyish!!!!),where to be,what to telll ,actually everything about thatidea amazed me...
But now let's come to the darker side, it's like knowing how the readers will react if this is posted like this. it's like knowing you're gonna die the next instant but can not do anything about it(that's too wierd to think)..Moreover you'll succeed in everything you do.If not everything,at least most of the times you will...That really spoils the thrill of success. Success without failure is like jam without bread, you may like it once, but becoming sick of it is just around the corner. It's like revealing a maze,in spite of the fact that u know what's ahead...
Honestly,Life,without it's thrill,is nothing...

Ten books i enjoyed reading........
10. The hound of the baskervilles
-sir arthur conan doyle:
This is where the habit book reading started for me...(i had read the count of monte cristo before this, but this was really what directed me towards book reading...).But,this is no reason for me in rating this as one among the ten....Let's get into the story..It is about how SHERLOCK HOLMES discovers the mystery behind the hound which has been haunting the lives of the family of the baskervilles ever since it killed HUGO BASKERVILLE in the seventeenth century. But,as we all know,'no plot is difficult for holmes to reveal',he did it again. If i tell you a single word more than this ,it'd become a spoiler to the book...
9. The Eldest
-Christopher paolini:
This book is one of the books i was waiting so eagerly to read after the success of its predecessors ERAGON,after the impact its story had on me...In this part,Eragon and his dragon Saphira undergo their training under the crippled rider Oromis And it also circles around the life of Ronan,Strong hammer as he begins to be called, and Nasauda, the succesor of her father Ajihad to lead THE VARDEN...But for the twist in the end, when eragon has to meet another rider in the Battle of the burning plains,a totally unexpected one at that, this story didn't amuse me much..But 'twas good enough to be in this list...
8.Children of hurin
-Tolkien
To be honest, i never knew about this book before finding it in ma college library two weeks ago
...I'd have missed it but for its author's name written in bold...It's story line goes beyond the time of the lord of the rings,at a time when Morgoth was the darkest power in the world and Sauron was just his lieutenant..It is about the life of Hurin and how his bloodline vanishes just because of the curse laid upon his kin by Morgoth....It is how Turin, his son, finds everything he does ending the wrong way, being separated from his mother at the age of 8, never to be seen alive again by her..
7. Bourne trilogy
- Robert luldum
An awesome work of action,I'd say. It circles around the life of David webb and his mysterious past as the assassin Jason bourne, which he seems to have lost in the first book of the trilogy, namely Bourne identity...as the trilogy progresses he seems to reveal to himself his past, in the process falling in love with Marie st.jacques but only to lose her at the start of the third part...And he tries to achieve the purpose of him becoming Bourne...
6.Time to kill
- john grisham
The first of the many books to be written by the hands of John grisham, was really a killer...
Empowered with an awesome narration the story circles around the trial of Carl lee hailey, for killing the 2 men who raped his 8 year old daughter,Tonya. He chooses the lawyer,Jake brigance to represent him. And how Jake saves him from being convicted with the simple idea of insanity is the story...
5.Eragon
-Christopher paolini
The predecessor of Eldest, this book was really an eye catcher. This book was which made the then fifteen year old boy paolini popular..
It is about how a boy named Eragon comes to find a dragon egg while hunting only to find out later that he was its so called 'rider'. It later turns that the village story teller Brom can help him in his way to fight against the betrayer of the riders,Galbatorix.Later he has to be parted from his uncle and family because of the dragon and his quest as a rider...In the process he meets the elf ,he keeps seeing in his dreams,Arya and rescues her from the shade,Durza..Later he fights for the warden killing the shade to be called the shadeslayer.
4.Murder of Dr.Roger ackroyd
-agatha christie
This is one story where the narrator turns out to be the killer, hats off to agatha christie for her talents in writing such a wonderful, gripping story. It starts of with the murder of Mrs. Ferrars,a wealthy widow ,rumoured to have murdered her husband..Then the death of Dr.Ackroyd throws some light on her suicide and this story pursues to reveal the way in which the great detective Hercule poirot, with help from Doctor sheppard, finds the murderer who was always near....
3.Harry potter and his adventures...
-j.k rowling
The boy wizard might be thought off as a fascination only for small kids, but i'll tell u, people can never be more mistaken. There are many of my friends who hate the series in spite of having known the popularity of the film just because they thought it was child's play...well,as far the story goes,i don't think i must throw some light on it...Anyways,it is about how the 11 year old boy,Harry potter, who believes to have lost his parents in an accident, finds himself belonging to another world and finds the truth behind his parent's death and tries to withstand the wraith of the dark lord Voldemort with sufficient help from the headmaster of hogwarts, the school of witch craft and wizardry, professor Dumbledore, and his two friends,Ron and Hermoine, only to kill him in the end..
2.The godfather
-Mario puzo
For a person who loved fantasies and larger than life characters, the godfather written by Mario puzo was a real change of course for me..It is an awesome work of drama ,i' d say centered on the Mafia..
This book centers on the Corleone family, one of the five powerful families...It is about how Don Corleone's son Micheal avenges his brother's death and the attack on his father by a Turk, which lead to the former...But this comes only in the later part of the book.Midway it describes the ascent of Corleone into power and also how his first son Sonny deals the situation in the aftermath of the attack on his father, during which he gets killed very badly....At last Corleone dies a natural death while tending his garden but only long after leaving all his powers onto his last son,Micheal's hands.
1.Lord of the rings
-J.r Tolkien
The lord of the rings is the book which i think is,was and will be the best book I've ever read in ma life. When a thousand odd paged book keeps you obsessed with it even while you don't give a damn about what is happening around you, you'd agree with me...It is tale of the one ring ,Sauron forged to control the other 16 rings which he distributed to elves, dwarves and men long before it was taken by Isildur...After many many years it ended up in the hands of bilbo baggins and later frodo baggins, the hobbits. Sauron however knows that this hobbit has the ring and must now be prevented from attaining it,otherwise doom shall fall on all,men and elves and dwarves alike....This can be done only by destroying the ring in the Mount doom ,where it was forged .Aragorn ,the Heir of isildur helps frodo indirectly in doing this by distracting the eyes of sauron, after he had defended the city of Gondor from the onslaught of the Sauron...and many more helped Frodo in his quest, for he was their only hope....
Now these are my lines in tribute of this book
Blind ,are the eyes of humans, who don't observe the beauty of nature.. Blind, are the eyes of readers, who didn care to read the ring lore.

i just completed reading "THE CHILDREN OF HURIN",one more of the awesome works of Tolkien on the middle earth, but it revolves around the ill fate of the kin of Hurin(one of the kings) made to fall on them by Morgoth(mightier than Sauron of "the lord of the rings"..... And i got the idea of writing a poem just about something related to it...forgive me if am not good enough for you to have wasted your time on this....
The Morning is coming.....
Look at yourself, think of the deeds you have done...
Good, bad or whatever they may be...
Think of what made you do them, and what they made to others..
Fair as an elf,you would be if they were good...
Dark as the towers of the north you would be,if they were fully bad...
Don't you dread yourself?? for you are none among both...
What you did were neither good, nor bad were they,completely.....
We have no Morgoth,to choose our fate...
Nor do we have the elf queen MELIAN to save us from the darkness..
What we think decides what we do...
what we do decides what we will be..
Give heed to fear and counsel,
but don't let them take control of you...
Don't flee your friends,at the sight of your mightier enemy,
you might be stabbed on the back by one of them..
Never forget the past or the future,
for they decide what is your present...
Think of all these while seeing yourself at the mirror,
Morning is not far away......
I don't think there should be any need for explaining these lines...this is ma tribute to 'Turin, son of hurin...the victim of fate.......
