Holi(Y)days
A little stint of holidays after a long time......No worries in the morning at 6, no boring hours between 9 and 12,and no sleeping hours from 12 to 4 where you must actually hide what you are doing.......that's a holiday for you,and when it comes in three that too after a full week of tiring routine that's definitely a treat, but of course holidays even have a minus ,or at least that's what i found out,the last day of your holiday can really make you pee sometimes. But lemme worry about it on Tuesday, as of now it's party time.....right now am listening to a track named ALL RISE by BLUE.....i have become really obsessed with a few songs from blue in the past few days......apart from that am reading 'THE RAINMAKER' by John Grisham, seems a good story till now......but I've read only some 50 odd pages........it's about how a young lawyer sues a reputed insurance company for playing pranks on a poor family......This is one of the reasons i am fascinated by ma college coz it has a helluva collection of novels unlike other colleges, or at least that's what i heard.......and now to the premier league......as i said in a previous post Liverpool are really havin an excellent start but they must still do their homework to catch up with arsenal and them beat them to the top of the table with manu catching up on them.......so i think this time the premier league winner is gonna be one among this three while Chelsea may spring a surprise but i am not on their side this time around maybe the way Ballack,Lampard , and Shevy play when they are fully fit might make me change my mind.......and as the purists say 'The Champs come hard when they are hit hard'. So it's time for Chelsea to show whether they really deserve to be called a contender for the big prize.......let's see.....

there's gotta be a first time for everything.....
i walk into my college ground hand in hand with one of ma friends and sit under a tree to watching ma seniors playing something called cricket(honestly it wasn't cricket except for the fact that they were using bat n balls) and on doing so i am turning my backs to another bunch of seniors who think they play football if they kick the ball around but i had to do what i did even though i love football because they were playing it in the basket ball court and kicking a volley ball.....so i thought the former was better and decided to do what i did....the match goes on without any turning point except that a guy spilled a sitter in the deep.....and ma friend takes his mobile out switches on his walkman and we start listening some music....now some gals turn out....both seniors and our fellow first years....slowly i start to feel bored and thought it'd be better if i took another walk around ma college...I think u'll be wondering what the topic has to do with all the shit i am typing, i forgot to mention an important fact.....some two hundreds yards from where i was sitting currently my computer programming teacher is shouting at the top of her voice to teach my fellow class mates about computers....now u get why i did what i did...don't U??? i've been listening to these stuff for nearly ten years now...but for all the technical stuff.....i say to my inner conscience,"WELCOME TO COLLEGE LIFE.....and this is the first time i cut a class in my college......definitely this is not the last one to come.......

wooohooo.......
This post has taken a bitta time to come after what unfolded yesterday but i was on an euphoria...how'd you expect me to come n keep typing something without living every moment of the grand spectacle again in ESPN and take my word for it, the whole nation is in such a state now and it'll take some time to die off.....After all,DHONI'S DASHERS have done what wasn't predicted by the game's most craziest fans........And still i can't believe Shreeshanth took that catch, honestly i though 'twas a six the moment it was hit but even then i didn't think it was a catch.........And India has done this without the big three......would u believe me when i say that the pressure is now on the big three to prove their worth or they might be sacked just like that but i wouldn't think of it even in my wildest dreams....after all sachin is sachin and dravid is dravid and dada is of course as we know him........i don;t think these young guys have it in them to sweat it out in the test format where once defense should be as sound as his attacking instincts..i still am not impressed by this format of the game and i hope,as vettori says, this isn't the future of the game.........but hats off to the Indians for the quality of cricket they displayed.........But what this triumph has done is put enormous pressure on the team to do well against the aussies and i think the way indians cope with the pressure will be crucial to the outcome of the series..........remember there was no pressure on the team to win the t20 world cup and i'll take this as one of the reasons India came out with flying colors........let's wait n see......

Back to teh machine life.....
It's monday morning,0600 hrs and as usual i am wondering whether some five more minutes in ma bed will do any harm......And how on earth, did i believe that these gloomy Mondays will be gone with school life.....And i was terribly mistaken because here i am posting about my college life while hoping that the following sixteen hours don't dry up soon coz it'll be monday after that and a start of a hectic week......Believe me when i say hectic coz it's six continuous days in an atmosphere which i don't find as soothing as ma school was and with subjects which'll make even the brightest of students doze.......But unlike other colleges there's something in mine which differs it from school life....mebbe teh girls or mebbe the way seniors seem to enjoy their life or the way i am posting right now without having any worries about homeworks to be completed or assignments to be submitted.....And who knows, life may not be so bad for me once i get some friends and adapt myself to the situation better.......Now do i miss my childhood friends a lot coz am envied a lot by the group of students who club up every time during breaks , forgetting every other soul in the college just because they're from the same school...To all my friends thinking that I've forgotten them i say this 'even if I've forgotten you during the holidays now i do remember you people' "THE FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT BUT THE PRESENT DOESN'T
SEEM SO".........hope it's better the next time i post......
The final showdown......
Some ten days ago, India bet Pakistan in a bowl out but not before the latter came so close to clinching a thriller, thanks to Misbah....But now the team has to do it again to complete what has so far been a fairy tale of a tournament....ever since Gayle started the tournament with a fifty odd ball century the tournament has never looked back, and it's not been a complete mayhem for bowlers either, some like Vettori,Bhajji,Asif have showed what a good bowler can do for a team.....And u won't believe me when i say Shahid afridi is the tournament's leading wicket taker, this goes on to show what true commitment can do........I've also been impressed by r.p singh's bowling and the way Yuvi has delivered the goods every time he comes on to bat, hitting six sixes in a row is no mean thing and that too to a bowler who has been very good so far in this english summer.........And leaving big three back home really seems to have improved the Indian fielding to a good extent, and the Proteas will agree to this.......It all goes down to this, one team will find glory tomorrow while the other will keep wondering what went wrong at the last moment and i honestly hope the latter doesn't turn out to be India

shapin up well.......
Saturday at nine thirty IST,the youthful indian side is about to take on a dominant australian side.......definitely india will go into the match as teh underdogs but i wouldn't be surprised if they come up with an upset, after all, they were written off and talked off even b4 their match with the proteas started......But,here they are, into the last four having comprehensively beaten the proteas.....and elsewhere it'd be a much more interesting match-up when Pakistan takes on the kiwis........I don't think they'll have a problem beating the kiwis if they play Vettori to his merit but alas,u don't know what to expect from the Pakistanis. It has been a good tournament so far for the two Asian giants after the disastrous world cup in west indies but it'd be even better if they manage to make it the first time ever in world cup cricket that the final is an all asian affair.......And what else will be a good start for a young captain than winning the world cup........But i'll assure this.......Saturday is gonna be a grand showdown for cricket fans........."FORTUNE FAVOURS THE BRAVE" let's see if it favours India this time around against the aussies.........

Enterin into a new world.............
It's party time..........atlast my college has started and here i am, already feeling proud to be an svce an.........for those who are wondering which college i am into, i am now a first year cs student of Sri Venkateshwara College of engineering,Sriperambudur.......It's around thirty kms from my house which is in Ambattur....so obviously i needed the transport services of my college.....the bus ride takes around forty five minutes in the morning and double the time in the evening for obvious reasons......Although i was expecting a bitta ragging, there was no such thing, atleast in my bus,but i'd have liked a bit of it though........
I think it'll be upto its name when it comes to enjoyment(come on yaar we enjoy in every college) but it'll take some time for me to come into terms with college life..........And one thing i have learnt in this two days is,there is no point in being a silent kid(even though i am not one,i tried to be in these two days)............And even the professors are friendly as far as i know and of course they're bound to be......... As i write this i hope i am not overshadowed in thevast crowd of to-be-engineers ,as i am not used to it.............
and i hope i am not misguided either.........
Hoping to have 4 years of happy(i mean it) enjoyment.........

got many to say..........
Only after finishing ma last post did i realize that I've completely forgotten to mention about cricket in it........But,now i won't, after the way India chased down a huge target of 317.......And I'd also like ma readers to know that I've bought myself a SE W810i.........And also that this is ma last week of holidays as ma college administration has decided to finish the long wait by announcing that the college will open on the tenth this month...........
Lemme come back to the match........first I'll finish off the negatives......what the hell was Dravid thinking when he gave the ball to yuvraj to bowl the last over??? And i really don't think this seven batsmen ploy is working out, you'll understand what i mean once you're done reading this post, and Dravid really needs one more bowler to slow down things a bit..........I'd really like to see bhajji back in the team because more often than not he took wickets as well as put the breaks on the batsmen...........but things are really not good for him at the moment.........
And now the positives...........the greatest openers of the game, as far as I've seen, are back in business........i really loved the way Sachin batted, but Ganguly is clearly not at his best ,but there's no problem as long as he keeps scoring runs.he bats well in patches.....I'll give credit for Uthappa only for the way he held his nerves and not for his batting.............clearly on his day anderson would've got him out 7 outta 10 balls.............and even England had some positives but don't we go into them...........let us hope they don't realise them.........
And as am saying this, the home of cricket is getting ready for the final showdown..............And let's hope that,One of the many sons of the game comes out on top in what clearly is his final match here..........

After a long tym......
Well,well,well......if you are wondering why I haven't been posting for nearly three weeks than I'll tell you this, even i was wondering the same thing till yesterday .But, only today did i realize that it takes something more than boredom to make a post......
After five months of complete rest(not really),my college administrators have finally decided to break the ice by announcing it is about to open on the tenth of this month.....But honestly I don't know what made them take this much time really.......And as of now,am still spending my time with the usual routine....TV,System,Gym et cetera.....
And now i come to the premiership................a disasterous start for the champions has been the highlight of the competition so far but i am starting to drift towards the reds from the blues, seeing the way they are playing currently and Torres' signing has really helped them to their cause.......And ask Derby County about this and they'll say more..... Maybe I'll turn back to the blues once Ballack and Shevy return.......... But I'll tell you this,Manu will be a totally different side once they have Rooney and Ronaldo back........
But I don't want them to be.........
